No-one in the picture is obviously female, gay or an apostate so no prejudices at all!

New magazine cover from the religion that calls former believers "mentally diseased"....
by cedars inapparently "prejudice" applies only to racial equality and has nothing to do with diverse sexual orientation or religious beliefs.
it's news to me, but that's the only way i can explain this latest cover from the society.. http://download.jw.org/files/media_magazines/86/wp_e_20130601.pdf.

banks have been shut, atms running out of cash, banks won't open again until tuesday, maybe.
lots of governments around the world are in financial difficulties, including the u.s. and the u.s. government isn't facing facts and will continue spending and spending until absolutely forced to deal with the deficit.. .

How would you feel if your coworkers pooled in on Powerball lottery tickets and won, and you didn't participate?
by Theocratic Sedition ini just recieved an email stating that the folks here won $8.00 over the weekend.
so they're going to use the money to procure more tickets and i believe the jackpot is up to like $260 million or some other crazy figure.
i never participate and i absolutely enjoy watching them waste their money on tickets with a smug haughtiness that only an active jw can muster.

I am sure there was a thread here some time back and doing the lottery is not wrong, just don't broadcast it.

NLP, Subliminal Messages and the WT Writing Department
by 00DAD ina few years ago i became interested in the subject of neuro-linguistic programming (nlp).
while the core concepts of nlp have been largely discredited as new-age pseudo-science, there is no doubt that there is at least some validity to the idea.
words and images remain the key way we communicate.

I do believe particular wording is deliberate in magazines.
Those already indoctrinated see the significance but the uninitiated won't have a clue.
Loaded language is their speciality.

Assemblies in Spain cost upwards of €600 but Jah never made sure we had enough euros to attend even though we piosneered and prayed and never missed a meeting and were nice to everyone. Until that happened I thought they were mandtory and not optional,
We were not the only family that couldn't afford all of them. A much more loving provision would have been if instead of flying to Tenerife and Lanzarote or Gran Canaria they had them on our island once in a while and we all shared the cost.
